A Tribute to Merritt Watson

Merritt Watson left OISESA at the end of 2024 to take care of her flourishing private practice as an Educational Psychologist. Merritt has over 38 years’ teaching experience, and over 19 years’ experience as an Educational Psychologist. She was the owner of School of Merit and was a head for 32 years.

Merritt lectured at numerous institutions both locally and internationally and co-authored a book on solution focused teaching strategies. Merritt shared her extensive knowledge of solution-focused language with the OISESA team which was invaluable. In addition, her considerable experience in the LSEN environment enabled her to work effectively with LSEN schools.

We will miss Merritt and wish her every success!
