Meet the Mentors

Mike Greeff

Mike Greeff is an experienced leader with extensive experience in a number of sectors of the economy: education, banking, finance, strategy, and consulting amongst others. He has always had a deep interest in education and solidarity/outreach projects. This led to Mike running the Rotary School Leadership Camp for the Rosebank Rotary Club for more than 20 years and this work guided him to a senior role in education well into his career.

Mike was educated at Parktown Boys’ High School in Johannesburg before studying at UNISA and Wits. He holds BCom (Hons) degrees and an MBA from Wits Business School. He completed his PGCE cum laude after joining St David’s Marist Inanda as Chief Executive in 2006. He then assumed responsibility for all five Marist schools and spent 14 years in the Marist world. Mike then worked with the Royal Drakensberg Education Trust in the Northern Drakensberg where he remains a board member.

Mike has a specific interest in strategy and leadership and is regularly approached to address or assist organisations and groups in these two areas. Mike has been married to Fiona for 39 years and he is a proud father and grandfather, passionate about our country, South Africa.
