Meet our Mentors

Liz Klug is the former Head of High School at Epworth School in Pietermaritzburg. She was appointed as Head in 2004 and retired at the end of 2015. Epworth School caters for girls and boys from Grade RRR – Grade 7, and for girls only in the High School, where over 50% of the students are boarders. She currently lives in the beautiful Hillcrest area in KwaZulu-Natal.

Liz is a graduate of the University of KwaZulu-Natal where she obtained both a BSc and a BCom Degree. She completed her Graduate Certificate in Education at the

University of Zimbabwe. She began her teaching career at Hamilton High School – a boys’ school in Zimbabwe where she taught Mathematics and Accounting.

Since retirement, Liz has been involved in Quality Assurance and Mentorship in Independent Schools and has found this to be rewarding and stimulating.
